postcard research

Postcard ads are a crucial part of the marketing strategy for short films. At film festivals, these postcard ads are distributed to promote the movie and attract attention. These cards facilitate the development of relationships with powerful individuals and increase the number of people who see the movie. These guerilla marketing strategies are crucial to selling and promoting short films because they are usually produced on a shoestring and not shown in theatres throughout the globe.

A postcard advertisement would be distributed among several others; therefore, it must be distinctive from the others. This can be achieved in a number of ways, such as through the use of colour, imagery, and text or title. Along with giving the audience a brief overview of the subject matter of your short video, you should also provide them access to your website, contact details, and QR code so they can readily learn more about it without having to look it up. This can be done by having contact information on the back of the postcard
