Here is my research regarding the many elements that combine to give life to a short film. Saman and I decided on a few research topics before delving into the various components that makeup a short film. The following is what we agreed upon:

• history and evolution 

• drama as a genre

• comedy as a genre

• common conventions of dramedy 

• common elements of a post card

• Analysis of short films that inspire us

• Particularly looking at the short films: "What's a nice girl like you doing in a place like that?"(1963) and "The Big Shave"(1967)
